Sarah Fredrick is a cellist, pianist, teacher, and songwriter in the Washington, D.C. area. She has over 15 years of experience as a wedding musician, music teacher, and piano accompanist. Sarah takes joy in working with couples to curate meaningful musical selections and in writing custom music arrangements for weddings. She has taught individual and group music lessons to students ages 4 to 40. Her approach to teaching revolves around supporting each student in cultivating a joyful connection to music-making. Sarah is a musician at Sixth and I Synagogue in D.C., where she plays cello, sings, and leads Shabbat and High Holiday services. She writes nigunim (wordless melodies) and new musical settings of traditional Jewish liturgy.
